of Physical Education, USF: This program is designed to enhance
the professional skills of physical education teachers with a focus on
the
science of human movement and the teaching-learning process with special
significance placed on physical education for students with
disabilities.
A
brand new state-of-the-art biomechanics laboratory is now housed at the
School of Physical Education, Wellness, and Sport Studies. The lab's
equipment consists of high speed/resolution VICON 612 MCAM cameras, AMTI
force-plate(s), and an electromyographic (EMG) system. The unique
integration of these three systems will provide kinematics, kinetics,
and muscle firing information. |
